Clair Hawkins, an electrical engineer, launched Solar Genius, a residential solar panel installation company. He needed a complete brand identity, a functional website, print collateral, and a cost-effective marketing campaign to generate leads and drive business growth.
My role was to develop a comprehensive brand identity, including a logo, website, and print materials, and to create a budget-friendly marketing campaign that would generate leads through Facebook and Nextdoor.
I began by designing a professional and trustworthy logo that reflected the company's technical expertise and commitment to renewable energy. I developed a user-friendly website that allowed homeowners to easily assess their solar panel needs based on location and home size. I designed print collateral, including business cards and letterheads, to reinforce the brand's professional image. I then implemented a targeted marketing campaign on Facebook and Nextdoor, optimizing ad placements and messaging to maximize lead generation within a limited budget.
The comprehensive branding and marketing efforts significantly contributed to Solar Genius's rapid growth. Within eight months, Clair went from a one-person sales team to a team of 12, generating over $2 million in revenue in the company's first year. A majority of these leads were directly attributed to the marketing campaign I designed and developed. The project successfully established Solar Genius as a leading residential solar panel installation company in the region.
