My role was to facilitate Miate's vision to create a tangible work of art series. Creating vector graphics and coordinating with production facilities to source material and manufacting of the art pieces to be cut via CNC with stainless steel & subsequently powder-coating in a durable finish. This project was a six month collaboration.
Maite Nobo, a talented artist, needed a comprehensive digital and physical presence to showcase and sell her unique artwork. She required a website for online sales, vector-based designs for CNC fabrication of large-format pieces, and support in gallery curation and brand development.
My role was to provide end-to-end project management, encompassing website design and development, logo and business card design, the creation of CNC-ready vector artwork, budget and time management, production oversight, safe delivery of finished artwork, and facilitating gallery showcases. I also aimed to educate Maite on the importance of brand awareness.
I began by designing a clean, visually driven website that highlighted Maite's art and facilitated easy online purchases. I created a distinct logo and business card that reflected her artistic style. I then used my technical expertise to produce precise vector-based drawings, ensuring they met the specifications for CNC fabrication. I managed the production process, overseeing budget and timelines, and ensured the safe delivery of the large-format pieces. I also organized and facilitated meetings with art galleries, curating her artwork for optimal presentation. Throughout the project, I provided guidance on brand awareness, helping Maite understand how to effectively promote her work.
Maite successfully launched her online presence, enabling her to sell artwork directly to her followers. The CNC-crafted pieces were produced to her exact specifications and delivered safely. The gallery showcases generated increased exposure and sales. Maite's understanding of brand awareness grew, empowering her to take a more active role in promoting her art. The project resulted in a significant boost in her artistic career and a strong foundation for future growth.
