A colleague, transitioning from corporate life to entrepreneurship, launched Doc T's Apothecary, a handcrafted soap and hygiene company in Houston, Texas. He required a complete visual identity and e-commerce platform to establish his brand and reach customers seeking high-quality, environmentally friendly skincare products.
My task was to design and develop a comprehensive visual identity system, including a logo, print collateral, product label design, product photography, and an e-commerce website. The goal was to create a cohesive brand that reflected the handcrafted, meticulous nature of Doc T's products and facilitated easy online purchasing for customers.
I began by developing a logo that captured the artisan and natural essence of Doc T's Apothecary. I designed supporting print collateral, such as business cards and packaging, to reinforce the brand's aesthetic. I created product label designs that were both informative and visually appealing, highlighting the natural ingredients and handcrafted quality. I also conducted product photography sessions to showcase the products' textures and colors. I then developed an e-commerce website that provided a user-friendly experience, enabling customers to easily browse the product catalog and make purchases safely and securely.
